This is an offline study companion to the original research at biblenumbersforlife.com, the work of mark h lane.

Why a rebuild?

The original site is a vast and remarkable body of work, but its navigation makes it difficult to find anything. There are hundreds of PDFs scattered across timestamped WordPress upload folders. The homepage is a 7,000-line wall of links. There is no search.

This rebuild keeps every PDF intact and adds a real information architecture around them: every spiritual number gets its own page, every theme gets its own page, every PDF is in one searchable catalogue, and every Bible chapter is cross-referenced to its spiritual number.

How it works

• The whole site is plain HTML, CSS, and a touch of JavaScript.
• There is no database and no server. Every page is generated at build time and shipped as a static file.
• Search is provided by Pagefind, which builds a static index and loads it in the browser.
• You can browse the site by double-clicking index.html. No internet required.

How to read

If you are new to the meaning of Bible numbers, start with the Introduction. From there, the Numbers Explorer is the most direct way in — pick a number that matters to you and follow its links outward.
